Better in Person.

A series of five short plays by five fantastic women written for and set on a Zoom call.

5 plays, £5.

Check back soon for future events.

Better in Person is inspired by conversations that would be ‘better in person’ but are happening online due to the lockdown. The audience are invited to be an online fly on the wall witnessing these intimate, beautiful, sad, uncomfortable, hilarious and always very human conversations, as they take place in real time.

"Each piece was bold in its message, brave in its execution and a thrill to watch... We see you Burn Bright, and we hear you."

Shane Morgan on Better in Person 1

"One of the best things to come out of 2020, the first instalment of Burn Bright's Better in Person was a brilliantly curated evening of new writing"

"BRAVE, BOLD, BEAUTIFUL fire - Burn Bright went live with a heartwarming selection of 5 plays writen and directed by women & performed with skill. What a joy it was to feel the thrill of live performance"

"Last night I watched a piece of theatre that I know is going to be on my 'Best of' list at the end of this year. A year that is a little bit brighter thanks to the majestic Burn Bright"

"Pleasure and honour to attend Better in Person tonight, written for its medium, provoking and resonating beyond its performance, like all terrific theatre I remember"
